Required Guidelines:

Font size -- 11, 12 or 14-point font

Spacing and Length -- single or 1 1/2 inch spacing and one side of one page only

Authorship/Title -- title and name only – Do not include course number, date, or professor’s name.

For full points: Illustrated with meaningful image(s)

Left-hand margin: 1.25 inch

Most Common Formatting Errors

Do NOT put any punctuation in your title (no quotation marks) or after the word "by." You can determine the capitalization in your title. Here are two title examples:

Book, film, TV show, video game, and series titles - in italics - Examples: James and the Giant Peach (book),  Aladdin (film), Sesame Street (TV show), Pac-Man (video game), and The Boxcar Children (series)

Poem, song and play titles - in quotation marks - "The Swing" (poem),  "De colores" (song), and  "The Nutcracker" (play)
