Classroom-Library Coplanning, Comodeling, Comonitoring, and Coteaching Videos
Click the links below to view YouTube-hosted video examples of each aspect of classroom-library collaboration. These videos were taken during a demonstration lesson for an undergraduate teacher preparation program course at Texas Woman's University in Fall 2012.
In the videos Ruth Nicole Hall, a doctoral student in the School of Library and Information Studies, is serving in the role of classroom teacher. Dr. Judi Moreillon is serving as the school librarian. Thank you to Dr. Karen Dunlap who provided us the opportunity to coteach her class.
Thank you do our videographer and instructional designer Diann Maurer for her excellent technical support for the video shoot, editing, and closed captioning.
On the LS5443: Librarians as Instructional Partners course wiki, you can access video testimonials from classroom teachers at all instructional levels and an elementary principal regarding their experiences with classroom-library collaboration for instruction.
